Mothlight daily digests are the stored daily_reports for completed UTC days. They are the source of truth for this index, the day pages and RSS. Each digest records its coverage window; the launch day, 2026-10-31, is partial because the observatory launched at 21:46 UTC. Digests are regenerated when late sensor batches or reclassification change a recent day, so a digest may be revised. A withheld cell is never shown as zero: zero means an observed zero.
Questions, answered
Which days appear here?+
Completed UTC days with a stored digest that passes the publication rule (at least 3 events and 2 distinct sources for a publishable total). The current UTC day is not listed until its digest is generated after 00:15 UTC the next day; see Live for recent observations. Missing days are not treated as zero.
Why can a digest change?+
Late-arriving sensor batches and reclassification can change counts. The daily job regenerates the previous two completed UTC days, and older days can be regenerated on request. Cite the day and coverage window, not just a count.

The 3 most recent completed UTC days, with hourly sparklines.
Daily digests for 2026-11 (UTC), newest first. Withheld means below the publication rule (at least 3 events from 2 distinct sources); it is never zero.
